Responsive Grants

Responsive grants are small grants of up to $1,000. They are categorised in two specific funding areas:

  1. Emerging and/or unexpected community need that is urgent and cannot fit into the Biannual Grants time frames. Available for local not-for-profit organisations or community groups.
  2. Individual participation and high-level achievement in sports, arts or educational activities. Available for individual residents of the City of Moonee Valley.

These grants are open monthly, closing on the first day of each month. They are usually assessed very quickly, with a turnaround time of up to six weeks from the close of the round.

Applicants can only receive one Responsive Grant allocation per financial year.
