Registering for kindergarten in 2018

The portal is available for families registering with Moonee Valley for the first time. Families with a 3 year old child/children currently placed for 2017 will be contacted when the portal is available to submit a registration for 2018. This process will not affect your chance of obtaining a place at a 4 year old kindergarten, an application received on 30 June has the same chance as one received on 20 March.

When registering online you will need to create an account and will be required to have electronic copies of all the relevant supporting documents to complete the registration. After the registration is submitted, you will receive an email confirming the registration.

You will be able to view your child’s current registration details, add or withdraw registrations, update their details as required, including nominated service preferences, respond to kindergarten offers and make online enquiries.

Contact the Central Registration Team if you believe an account should exist but you don’t have the details or if you have previously had a child registered through the Central Registration Service but do not have a portal log in.

To register your child online visit the Central Registration website

This is the quickest and preferred method of registration.

If you are unable to apply via the portal, please use the registration form (pdf, 420KB) or contact Central Registration at or on 9243 8888.

If you have submitted a 2018 registration form by email, mail or in person you do not need to register through the online portal. A portal account will be made available to you.
