| How to make account payments | | Phone - credit card only
Phone MVCC's secure phone payments line on 1300 738 574 (24 hours), to pay rates, animal registration renewals, parking, animal and other local laws infringements, etc. Pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club.
Internet - credit card only
Rates, animal registration renewals, parking, animal, litter and other local laws infringements can be paid online using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club.
Council in person
At the Customer Service Centre, 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds. Council accounts may be paid by cash, cheque, EFTPOS and all major credit cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club. Hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday to Friday and 8.30am to 7pm each Tuesday (except for January when closed at 5pm). Closed all public holidays.
By mail
All Council accounts may be paid by cheque through the mail. Please attach cheque, made payable to City of Moonee Valley, to the account and forward to PO Box 126 Moonee Ponds VIC 3039. (Please note receipts are not issued for payments made by mail, unless specifically requested).
CBA Bank in person
At any Commonwealth Bank. No fee is charged and payments made by cash or cheque. NO CREDIT CARD payments accepted. A Rate notice with the correct MICR line must be presented for payment to be processed.
Rates by mail
Mail the detachable portion of your rate notice and your cheque to the City of Moonee Valley, PO Box 14800, Melbourne, VIC 8001. (Receipts are not issued for these payments).
Australia Post in person
At any Australia Post Office or agency, using Post Billpay by phone or internet. Payment either by cash, cheque, Eftpos or credit card (some agencies may not be able to accept debit/credit card payments). A barcoded account must be presented at the Australia Post Office or agency for the payment to be processed.
In person at newsagents
Look for the red Bill EXPRESS® logo at newsagents to pay this notice with cash, cheque, debit card, MasterCard or Visa. For locations call 1300 739 250 or visit www.billexpress.com.au.
BPay
Phone your participating bank, credit union or building society to make payment directly from your cheque, savings or credit account. (The BPay details are shown on your rate notice).
Transfer Station in person
Visit the Transfer Station at the Holmes Road Depot and pay by cash, cheque or Eftpos (debit or credit card - MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club).
