Relocation of Milleara Library to Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre

Milleara Library is now CLOSED. The new Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre will be open on Tuesday September 7, 10am.

Reservations: please talk to staff about collecting reservations at another branch during the closure period.

Author talk: David Carlin "Our Father Who Wasn't There"
David Carlin was an infant when his father died and, apart from a photo on a bedside table, not much is spoken of his existence to David and his two siblings until they are much older, when they are told of his suicide. David's book is a memoir of not only his father but of David's relationship with him.

East meets West
Kangan Institute hospitality teacher Dennis Tran will demonstrate how to create simple and nutritious recipes. Dennis is the teacher and mentor of this year's silver medal apprentice winners of the Vic TAFE Cookery Competition. He can also be heard on the Vietnamese Language Program (SBS) talking about nutrition. Copies of recipes will be available to take home.
