| News: | | Easter Hours
All libraries will be closed from 5pm Thursday April 1st for the Easter Break. Libraries will resume normal opening hours on Tuesday April 6th.
No items are due for return while the library is closed. Items can be renewed or reserved via our catalogue
Testing Wifi at the library
We are now offering wireless internet connectivity at Sam Merrifield, Niddrie, Flemington and Ascot Vale branches. The program is still in pilot mode, but library users are encouraged to test it, and offer feedback prior to the official launch. Ask at the desk for more details.

| Events | | Magic at the Library during school holidays
All children aged 4 and up are invited to our exciting school holiday activities.
Mr. Biscuit the magical chef will have kids laughing with wonder as he juggles apples whilst eating them! You will also meet his puppet, Ralf the dog, who sings as Mr. Biscuit plays the mouth organ.
A hilarious kid's magic show! Luigi Zucchini, the crazy Italian master of magic, mirth and mayhem will add some razzle-dazzle to your school holidays. Everyone will be in stitches as Luigi presents his one-of-a-kind show.

| Can you speak Chinese?
Looking for a Chinese speaking volunteer to visit a Chinese nursing home in Ascot Vale every 6 weeks.
Must have own car and happy to drop off library material to a few of the nursing home residents.
