| News: | | Move allows Milleara Library to grow Moonee Valley City Council has voted to relocate Milleara Library to the new Avondale Heights Community Learning Centre.
The decision follows extensive community consultation, during which a library advisory group was formed for residents to be part of the consultation process and surveys from 285 people were received.
The advisory committee was generally supportive of the move from Milleara Shopping Centre to Avondale Heights Community Learning Centre because it will allow a much larger collection, be on the ground floor and there will be more car parking.
It is anticipated the new library will open in September.
