  • Enhance the wellbeing of individuals and community groups
  • Promote a clean, green and beautiful environment
  • Create a vibrant and diverse city with opportunities for all
  • Provide a friendly and safe community

Individuals, community groups, organisations and local businesses will be able to apply for any amount up to $20,000 depending on the size and scale of their project.

New Social Support stream

From 2018, we are introducing a Social Support stream which can provide funding of up to $1,500 to local community groups providing social support for residents.

These grants are for small social support groups run by volunteers with limited fundraising means, where residents meet regularly to share information and each other’s company.
