New pavilion for Boeing Reserve

Thursday, 14 December 2017

Moonee Valley City Council has recently started work on a new pavilion for Boeing Reserve. The new pavilion is part of Council’s efforts to support the growing popularity of baseball in Moonee Valley.

Moonee Valley Mayor Cr John Sipek said the new pavilion will be a multiple purpose facility designed for both sporting and community use.

“This is part of us providing first class community and sporting facilities across Moonee Valley,” Cr Sipek said.

“Overall this is shaping up to be a big year for infrastructure improvements right across Moonee Valley, with several large scale projects underway.

“The kick-off of this project coincides with the completion of several other projects including the new shared path at Travancore Park, the new pavilion at Fairbairn Park and the revitalisation of Pridham Plaza.”

This project is part of Council’s delivery of the Boeing Reserve Master Plan.
