Our Cultural Plan 2009-2014 (pdf. 203KB) was developed to support creative communities for the next five years by encouraging cultural participation and connection across the City.
What is the plan?
Our goals are to:
- make arts and cultural events more accessible through a network of cultural facilities
- nurture a culture of community participation, innovation and collaboration
- build on and diversify our resources for culture and the arts
- celebrate local identity and create sense of place for the creative community Embed festivals and events into the City’s cultural life
