February/March update

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays and have settled into your work or study routine once again. The fun of summer isn’t over yet! The Moonee Valley Festival on Sunday, 25 February is a vibrant event to take part in, with activities for all ages, so come along and enjoy a day in the beautiful Queens Park. I hope to see you there.

There are many cafes, restaurants and bars taking part in Eat Drink Westside and which showcase the offerings of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in the west. If you’re looking for a new place to try some amazing food and beverages, book early to avoid missing out on the great events. Please support our local hospitality businesses.

I’m pleased to see progress on the East Keilor Leisure Centre redevelopment project. Design of the project is underway and construction is expected to start next year. It will be great once the project is completed but in the meantime, it’s business as usual for the centre.
