The Junior Ranger program is a fun way for kids to interact with local flora and fauna in Queens Park.

What do Junior Rangers do?

Junior Ranger use their kits to explore and discover the plants and animals.

Each Junior Ranger kit includes a:

Queens Park is full of life just waiting to be explored. Junior Rangers will get to discover ducks, water hens, cockatoos and even rainbow lorikeets, along with native plants such as the banksia and various eucalyptus species.

As a reward kids receive a Junior Rangers sticker and a guide that they can take home to continue exploring their neighbourhood.

Borrowing a Junior Ranger kit

There are 10 kits at Oliver's Garden Cafe in Queens Park and 50 at the Sam Merrifield Library.

To pick up a kit just drop in on the day.

School classes and large groups need to call the library on 8325 1950 to book in advance.
