Give the kids a fun and educational riding experience at the Essendon Traffic School.
Essendon Traffic School is a mini road set up for kids aged two to ten years, complete with road signs, railway bells and traffic lights. It is a safe place for kids to practice riding their bicycles and learn about road rules.
Please ensure that children are wearing closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing for riding when you visit (including a properly fitted helmet). Although scooters and skateboards are not permitted, there are a wide range of bicycles provided which children can use on the road circuit. Alternatively, children are welcome to bring their own bikes.
Traffic School will be open for public sessions next school holidays from Monday 19 September to Thursday 29 September from 10am to 12pm and then from 1pm to 3pm. There will be no public sessions held on Friday 30 September or Saturday 1 October due to the Grand Final Public Holiday weekend.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning sessions are for children aged two-six years only, all other sessions are available to children aged between two and ten years.
