Celebrate the festive season with a free evening of carols and entertainment under the stars at this year’s Carols in Queens Park.

Bring your family and friends, grab a picnic, warm up your voices, and sing along to your favourite carols and songs.

This year Carols in Queens Park will have performances from special guests Lisa Marie Parker, Richard Thomas and Gary Pinto.

There will also be special performances from local community groups Moonee Valley Brass, The Australian Women’s Choir, Essendon Choral Society, Moonee Valley Community Choir and local primary school’s St Martin de Porres Primary School and Resurrection House Primary School.

Songbooks, candles, food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Food vendors will include Bianco Latte icecream, Coffee A La Cart, Vietnamese from lil’ nomnoms and the Rotary Club of Flemington will be cooking up a sausage sizzle.

Carols in Queens Park is an Auslan interpreted event.

Learn fun and festive songs and make friends too. All music provided and no experience necessary!

Rehearsals will take place at the Bradshaw Street Community Hall, Essendon on the following dates from 6.30pm-8pm:

  • Thursday, 19 November 2015
  • Thursday, 26 November 2015
  • Thursday, 3 December 2015
  • Wednesday, 9 December 2015

You will also be required for a sound check prior to Carols.

Applications close 19 November.
