Events at Flemington Racecourse & Melbourne Showgrounds

Our neighbours, Flemington Racecourse and Melbourne Showgrounds play host to a range of events each year.

While these events are managed by the venues and overseen by the City of Melbourne, we are well aware that they have a big impact on the residents of Moonee Valley.

While it is great to have access to these events right on our doorstep, we do from time to time experience issues with noise, traffic and parking.

We try to reduce the impact of these events on residents as much as possible through working with the event organisers to ensure that residents are notified of each event, that traffic management plans are put in place, crowd control is enforced and that noise levels are kept in line with EPA guidelines.
