Residents of Moonee Valley have been coming together each year for a fun summer day in Queens Park since 1977. Be part of this special event as we celebrate the Moonee Valley Festival’s 40 year history of bringing our community together!  

Live performances

The festival features music and dance shows all day with the CityLink Main Stage a highlight. The colourful entertainers roving the park will surprise and delight!


Yummy treats

Food stalls and festive treats galore! Foodies will love the cooking demonstrations from top-notch Melbourne Restaurants and chefs featured on the Cooking Stage.




Family fun

Live shows all day at the Kid’s Kingdom plus free carnival rides and interactive activities and games.


Get active

Kick up your heart rate watching the physical feats showcased at the Health and Wellbeing Area or get in on the action by joining the interactive workshops for all ages.





Find a new hobby, connect with local businesses and browse the fabulous craft market.



Join a workshop, test your green thumb, get crafty or just be amazed by the talent of your neighbours with performances and demonstrations from local community groups in the Telstra Moonee Ponds One World Expo, Sustainability Area and at the Community Expo.




Moonee Ponds Bowling Club will be open from 10am till 4pm with a BBQ and refreshments on sale and there’s free entry to Queens Park Swimming Pool all day, with bumper boats and giant inflatables to make a splash!

General information

Parking is limited. We encourage patrons to travel by public transport or ride your bike, with free bicycle parking onsite.

We endeavour to make the festival accessible for all members of our community. Accessible facilities will be available.

Help us reduce plastic waste at this year’s festival by bringing along your own drink bottle and reusable bag. Visit the sustainability area on the day to collect your reusable cutlery and learn more about how to reduce plastics in your life.
