Fairbairn Park Pavilion Project

Works are nearing completion on the exciting new multi-purpose sports pavilion at Fairbairn Park. The new pavilion will replace the existing two pavilions (middle and north), which will be demolished at the completion of the new building.

The new building will cost approximately $4 million and will be fully DDA compliant and incorporate many Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) features. The project is expected to be completed in by December 2017 and will include an official opening.

Further works to Fairbairn Park this summer include;

  • new sports ground lighting installed on oval nine
  • new six-lane cricket net training facility (replacing the two existing cricket training nets)
  • the realignment of the eight sports ovals
