Debneys Park Playspace Masterplan

Adopted in 2009, the Debneys Park Playspace Masterplan was developed to improve and activate Debneys Park in Flemington. The plan incorporates unique and bold designs to attract more residents to use and enjoy Debneys Park.

Debneys Park Playspace

This playground has been designed for older children.

Two junior playspaces can be found in Debneys Park, one near 120 Racecourse Road and another at Victoria Street.

The Debneys Park Playspace was funded by Moonee Valley City Council and the Federal Government's Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program. It now provides an active, vibrant and welcoming gathering space for all residents and includes:

  • construction of an exciting play space with walkways, viewing platforms, climbing structures, slides and a flying fox
  • seating, lighting, shelters and signage
  • improved park entrances
  • landscaping, including shrubs, trees and revegetation along Moonee Ponds Creek
