From its humble beginnings in South Melbourne, where a lady on a tricycle delivered meals to local residents, Meals on Wheels now delivers 15 million meals to more than 60,000 people each year Australia-wide.

The Meals on Wheels service and volunteers across Australia provide more than just a meal – they provide an important community connection, calling in at homes each day to provide a cheery welcome, daily contact and monitor the wellbeing of each client.
