The Companion Card is issued by the State Government to people with a significant permanent disability, who are unable to access most community activities and venues without an attendant support.
The carer is allowed in at no cost and the person with the disability, or the Companion Card Holder pays the standard charge. People with a temporary disability are not eligible.
