Moonee Valley Libraries offer a range of classes. Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to improve your skills, you're sure to find something that suits your needs.

The cost for each class is $6.60 unless indicated otherwise.

Bookings are required and payment is required prior to attending classes. All classes are free for seniors and concession holders. All classes can be booked via our Eventbrite page.

All classes delivered in the Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre public internet room are proudly supported by the Keilor East Community Bank Branch of the Bendigo Bank.

Tech Connect

Bring along your device, share knowledge and meet new friends. Tech Connect is a friendly informal group focusing on exploring technology, gaining a better understanding of devices and their features. Sessions will be facilitated by staff but are not repair workshops.

English conversation classes

English Conversation

In partnership with Farnham Street Neighbourhood Learning Centre, the library offers free conversation classes. These weekly classes are a great way to practice your English and meet new people in a relaxed setting. All levels of English are welcome. This program is aimed at adult learners. Classes do not run during school holidays. Free, no bookings necessary.

Films in the Atrium

Come along to Avondale Heights and Flemington Libraries for free screenings of documentaries, international and art house films. Bookings can be made via our Eventbrite page.

Colour me happy

Wanting to relax? Try a colouring and conversation group. Studies show colouring can have a calming effect on the adult mind and help to promote overall wellness. Colouring pages from books designed especially for adults as well as coloured pencils will be provided. Free, no bookings required.
