Youth Iftar Dinner - Talkin bout yo future!

When: Friday, 9 June, 4.30pm-8.30pm
Where: Flemington Community Centre, 25 Mt Alexander Road, Flemington

We are hosting a community dinner for young people observing Iftar, the meal served at sunset to break the daily fast during the month of Ramadan.

The theme of the dinner, ‘Talkin bout yo future’, aims to start a two way dialogue about education and career pathways. Guest speakers will present unconventional paths to education and particular professions and talk about how they’ve overcome pressures from their families and community. They will share their journey to success and identify the importance of finding a career you are passionate about.

By participating in this event, young people will take away some practical tools on how to better manage the daily pressures that might be stopping them from following their dreams. We hope to ignite creativity and provide inspiration!

This event is open to Muslim and non-Muslim young people aged 18 to 30 years.

RSVPs via Eventbrite or call Flemington Community Centre on 8325 1800.
