Racecourse Road and Pin Oak Crescent

Pridham Plaza landscape upgrade

In November 2017 we officially opened an upgrade of Pridham Plaza (off Racecourse Road), introducing a vibrant new public space to the Flemington community.

This was the first capital works project taken from our Racecourse Road and Pin Oak Crescent Streetscape and Activation Plan, and was co-funded with the Department of Justice.

The upgrade includes:

  • new distinctive bluestone patterned paving
  • more places to sit with custom seating decks
  • a bike repair station
  • a drinking fountain
  • new lighting
  • new shade trees and garden beds
  • local youth art for the toilet block
