Our neighbourhood centres offer a variety of recreational and educational activities for older adults and people with disabilities.

Regular hirer

Do you make more than six bookings a year? you are considered a 'regular hirer' - please fill out the application form (pdf, 240KB) and submit to halls@mvcc.vic.gov.au

Casual hirer

Do you make less than six bookings a year? you are considered a 'casual hirer' - please make a booking request through our online application.

Alternatively, you can fill out our application form (pdf, 182KB) and submit to halls@mvcc.vic.gov.au

Application forms must be completed by the hirer. By submitting the application form, the hirer agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of use (pdf, 370KB).

Neighbourhood centres

Ascot Vale Neighbourhood Centre

Address: Corner of Union Road and Munro Street, Ascot Vale

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 180 people
  • Dining room seating for up to 60 people
  • Kitchen facilities (with hot water urn, industrial stove, industrial dishwasher and fridge)
  • Stage area
  • Wheel chair access

Burley Griffin Community Centre

Address: Park Drive, East Keilor

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 100 people
  • Main kitchen (with hot water urn, kitchen stove, dishwasher and fridge)
  • Wheelchair access

Some specific restrictions apply to the Burley Griffin Neighbourhood Centre:

  • No alcohol
  • No amplified music

Kellaway Avenue Neighbourhood Centre

Address: 5 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 200 people
  • Main kitchen (with hot water urn, industrial stove, industrial dishwasher and fridge)
  • Stage area
  • Wheelchair access to main hall only

Nancye Kirchner Neighbourhood Centre

Address: Doyle Street, Avondale Heights

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 180 people
  • Kitchen facilities (with hot water urn, domestic stove and fridge)
  • Stage area
  • Wheelchair access
  • Large car park

Niddrie Neighbourhood Centre (Niddrie Community Hub)

Address: 3-15 Matthews Avenue, Niddrie

Features:

  • Main hall seating for up to 200 people 
  • Kitchen facilities include hot water urn, industrial stove, industrial dishwasher and fridge
  • Wheel chair access
