Five Mile Creek Reserve

Five Mile Creek Reserve is a historical site that was once the site of Pascoe Vale National School.

The creek itself is predominantly underground in storm water drains, flowing out to the surface in Five Mile Creek Reserve before it enters Moonee Ponds Creek.

The Five Mile Creek Reserve features:

  • the Moonee Ponds Creek Shared Trail, a popular path network running alongside the creek and linking to surrounding areas. View the the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail brochure (pdf, 3.6MB) to explore and learn more about the area
  • picnic areas with barbecue facilities

The Friends of Five Mile Creek welcome new members to assist with activities at the site, including planting, weeding, water monitoring, community education, bird surveys and mulching.

Please refer to the Community environment groups and events page for planting dates and information on Moonee Valley's Friends Groups.
