Volunteer at the Incinerator Gallery

Applications for the Incinerator Gallery’s Volunteer Involvement Program are now open! Apply here!

The Incinerator Gallery is looking for ten skilled and dedicated individuals to join its new team of volunteers.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and have a passion for art, architecture, the environment and local history.

By becoming a part of the Incinerator Gallery team, volunteers will enjoy a wide range of benefits including presentation and engagement training, involvement in exhibitions and openings and networking opportunities.

Application Process and Key Dates:

  • Applications open: Wednesday 2 January, 2019 at 9am
  • Applications close: Monday 18 February, 2019 at 9am
  • Applicants notified: Friday 22 February, 2019
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to the second phase of the application process: Group interviews conducted Monday 4 March, 2019.
  • Successful applicants will be notified via email on Thursday 7 March, 2019.
  • Successful applicants will be asked to submit a Police Check application, Volunteer WWCC application and attend a Training and Induction Day at the Gallery on Tuesday 12 March, 9.30am - 3.30pm.
  • Volunteers ready to commence shifts and ongoing training Wednesday, 13 March 2019.

Second round applications will open August 2019.
