International Day of People with Disability

Celebrating diversity and inclusion in Moonee Valley.

To mark International Day of People with Disability, we will be hosting an evening of activities and open air screening of the movie Wonder.

When: Saturday, 1 December from 6pm to 10.30pm.

Where: Crown Street Stables Community Café, 40 Crown Street, Flemington.

Cost: Free

Alongside the movie screening we will have:

  • A free sausage sizzle
  • free ice-cream (for the first 200 visitors)
  • free popcorn
  • free facepainting
  • a hip-hop workshop run by Inkrewsive – Wild at Heart

 Wild at Heart provide opportunities for people with disability, mental illness or disadvantage to tell their stories through high quality music, dance and performance. Inkrewsive are a vibrant hip hop crew who will perform rap, dancing and freestylin’ from 7pm to 8pm.

The screening of the movie Wonder will start at 8.30pm (sunset) until 10.30pm. Movie will be screened with open captions and audio description. Please contact Metro Access on 9243 1405 if you have any additional access requirements.

Crown Street Stables Community Café will be closing at 4pm on Saturday, 1 December with activities starting from 6pm.
