Relay For Life - Moonee Valley 2019

Welcome! Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Moonee Ponds community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.

Moonee Valley Festival - Illuminate the River

Saturday, 30 March, 2pm–9pm at The Blvd, Maribyrnong River, Aberfeldie

The Moonee Valley Festival comes to an end in spectacular style with a full day of food, art and entertainment in a grand cultural celebration. Be dazzled with live music, roving performances and pop-up activities for all ages!

The celebration will continue into the evening with laser lights, projection art and fireworks as we close the 2019 Moonee Valley Festival in style!

Aberfeldie Reserve

Aberfeldie Reserve located beside the Maribyrnong River, is a popular park with walkers and fitness groups. Dogs are able to exercise off leash here

Afton Street Conservation Park

Afton Street Conservation Park is a historical open space on the Maribyrnong River. The site and surrounding Maribyrnong Valley Parklands are home to several species of birds and it features the occasional visits by swamp wallabies, dolphins and seals

Maribyrnong Park

Maribyrnong Park is a large reserve that borders the Maribyrnong River. The park features two sports fields and it also has an excellent path network for walking and cycling to surrounding areas.
