Keilor Road/North Essendon is a linear neighbourhood linking the eastern parts of the municipality to the western region. Following the alignment of Keilor Road as it radiates west from the end of Mt Alexander Road, the neighbourhood is well serviced by the tram to Airport West.

Harry Potter book night

Friday 8 February, 5.45pm-7.30pm at Niddrie Library

Young fans of Harry, Hermione and Ron are invited to celebrate J.K. Rowling’s wonderful series. There will be potion classes, wand making, horcrux hunts and much more. Costumes are welcome!

Stories and Seedlings in the Park

Tuesday 26 February, 2pm - 3pm at Woodlands Park

Share the joy of planting and growing food with your children. With help from The Sage Garden children will plant seedlings and decorate their own pots to take home. Children can also join in Moonee Valley Libraries story time in the park.

Make sure to bring a rug, hat, sunscreen and an afternoon snack. Children of all ages are welcome.

Moonee Valley Festival - Woodlands by Twilight

Saturday 2 March, 4pm–9.30pm at Woodlands Park

Pack your picnic and sit back and relax amongst the beautiful surrounds of Woodlands Park for a twilight concert for the whole family to enjoy. With free activities for the kids and entertainment from Australian and local musicians including Jetty Road, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Niddrie History Walk

Wednesday 1 May 2019, 2pm-3pm at Niddrie Library

Join our Community Heritage Librarian for a gentle guided walk. Walkers will leave from Niddrie Library and visit points of historical interest in Keilor Road and the nearby area. Free, bookings necessary.
