Public Notice - Proposed Annual Budget

Council has endorsed for public comment the Proposed Annual Budget 2019/20. Copies are available for inspection on Council’s website www.mvcc.vic.gov.au or in hard copy at the Civic Centre and Flemington Community Centre.

If you wish to make a submission on this document, please do so in writing by 5.00pm on Friday, 10 May 2019. Submissions should be sent either to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 126, Moonee Ponds, Victoria 3039 or to council@mvcc.vic.gov.au. Council will consider submissions in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.

You may request to be heard before Council in support of your written submission (or be represented by a person acting on your behalf). Submissions will be heard at a section 223 committee of Council at 6.00pm on Tuesday, 28 May 2019 at 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds. If you wish to speak at this meeting in support of your submission, you must advise Council as part of your written submission.

Council will consider adopting these documents at its meeting commencing 6.30pm on Tuesday, 11 June 2019.

(Stormwater Harvesting System)

Council seeks to engage the services of a suitably qualified contractor to construct a new wetland system (stormwater harvesting and irrigation works) at Rosehill Park in Keilor East.

The works involve creating a new stormwater treatment and harvesting system, irrigation works and boardwalk structure.

A mandatory site meeting will be held on site at Rosehill Park, Keilor East at 12.30 pm on Thursday 6 June 2019. Non- attendance will mean their tender will be non-conforming.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
