Live Life Get Active – Free outdoor classes
Boxing, Yoga and Cross Training - there really is something for everyone. Enjoy free weekday fitness classes at 9.30am during school terms.

Where: Doyle Street Reserve, synthetic pitch, Doyle Street, Avondale Heights

YMCA Fit Park
Various free physical activity programs available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings delivered by YMCA

When: Tuesday, 26 February  (six week program)

Ascot Vale Leisure Centre
Enjoy the following classes for free during February and March at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre*

Active You participants get a special offer - just mention 'Active You'

  • Leisure Centre membership $10 joining fee with six month minimum term (a saving of $90)
  • Swim school membership $10 joining fee with no minimum term and two weeks free swimming lesson

Healthy Living Seminar
Need help reaching your health goals? Attend our healthy living information session.

Come along to free evening seminar with Diabetes Victoria and Exercise Physiologist Nicole French to learn more about:

  • Diabetes, heart disease and stroke, including risk factors and symptoms
  • The importance of eating well and weight control
  • Physical activity and reducing stress in daily life

When: Wednesday, 13 February 6.30pm

Where: Cross Keys pavilion, Woodland street, Essendon

All attendees will have the opportunity to complete a simple health check questionnaire to determine their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Eligible high-risk individuals will have the chance to participate in the FREE Life! program.

Heart Foundation morning tea
Do you love walking?  Are you looking to walk with other people?
Come along to this free morning tea to meet our Moonee Valley walking groups and learn how you can get invovled, or even start your own! 
Many Heart Foundation walkers tell us the social contact is what keeps them coming back year after year. Our groups love getting together, and on top of their regular walks, organise special walks and social events to make being active even more fun.
