Isaiah Firebrace

Hailing from just outside Melbourne, along the banks of the Murray River, Isaiah first stepped into the spotlight in 2016 when he was crowned winner of the eighth season of The X Factor Australia. Since then he’s grabbed global attention for his #1 single ‘It's Gotta Be You’, which is now certified Platinum in Australia, 2 x Platinum in Sweden, Gold in Norway and Gold in Denmark.

2017 was a big year for Isaiah; he performed in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final with his single ‘Don’t Come Easy’, toured nationally with his friend and mentor Jessica Mauboy, and completed his first European press junket with stops across Scandinavia, the U.K., Belgium, and France.

Dinner Suit Boogie

Featuring five core members from Melbourne's deep-rooted soul, jazz and party music scene, the band brings together members of WVR BABY, True Live, Raah Project, Thando, Echo Drama and Slippery Grips. Having performed for a range of events from cocktail parties to all-night dance floor marathons, pub residencies to the big festivals, Dinner Suit Boogie will bring the party energy to Illuminate the River!

Kattimoni is a vibrant, powerhouse soul empress vocalist with the essence of vintage funk, energetic groove based rhythms, explosive horn section and conscious, empowering lyrics.

Gravity and Other Myths

Gravity and Other Myths is an internationally renowned circus company pushing the boundaries of contemporary circus.

Formed in Adelaide, Australia in 2009, Gravity and Other Myths has rocketed to stellar acclaim with a series of disarmingly accomplished ensemble works. Gravity and Other Myths’ work utilises an honest approach to performance, to create shows with a focus on human connection and acrobatic virtuosity.

Children's entertainment

A square cow quacking for biscuits, a squirting pig, a one-eyed blue cat, dancing carrots, giant roaming poo, Beasties is a petting zoo with a difference. Set up to be partly observational and partly interactive, there’s fish birds to feed and Deloras will sing for you if you pat her enough.

There’s also a pair of keepers to oversee the animals, answer your questions, and keep the poo from following you home.

True Fairies

Listen carefully as the fairies read you an enchanted story of ‘Teal the fairy’ who overcomes challenges going on a brave journey to grow her wings and become her true self. An empowering story of gnomes, fairies, elves and magic.

Explore the magical fairy's grotto with giant mushrooms, a bubble wish fountain, a fairy throne for storytelling, cushions and picnic rugs. The fairies will even be there to paint your face and bring the magic to your festival day!

Lantanasia by The Lanternist blends traditional lantern design, sculpture and illustration to create luminous pieces of art. The Maribyrnong River precinct will come to life with magical creatures and native animals illuminate in hidden nooks and spaces.

The Lanternist is the love child of Melbourne based illustrator/designer Tyson Savanah and partner Evie Wittingslow. Born from a desire to enhance the natural beauty of their family wetlands and gardens in the evenings, and growing to include over 80 individual lanterns.
